Tv story for "Celebrate the Difference" in Kosovo

Hi everyone!

I am happy to be the first to write in our lovely blog in 2013. I am sure you still remember what we did in Breisach and maybe still missing and being nostalgic about those days.

Captured from the video story
Today in our local TV it was a story about our youth exchange "Celebrate the Difference". It was a nice pleasure to have the chance to tell the others that we really celebrated the differences and had a wonderful experience with you people.

We chose to mention the skype conference with Franziska Brantner, the visit in European Institutions in Strasbourg and our fantastic time in Breisach.

I invite you to enjoy the video and share with others if you like. See you in next announcements.

Evaluation results, part 1

At the end of the international youth exchange "Celebrate the Difference!" we conducted an anonymous evaluation with the participants. We used the online survey application "Polldaddy" which is available free of charge in a basic version. 23 out of 24 participants filled in the online questionnaire, which is quite a remarkable result in itself. The questionnaire consisted of ten questions, five of them closed (multiple choice, see below) and the other five open questions. Below you will find the results of questions relating to some general aspects of the venue, the group, the organisation and the programme of the exchange, but also to some more specific aspects of the contents.

Evaluating the venue and its environment

The first question of the evaluation form asked for opinions about the venue of the exchange (i.e. the youth hostel in Breisach) and its surroundings:

Question 1: How do you evaluate the...?

Unser Besuch beim Europarat

"Alle Menschen werden Brüder..."

Endlich!

Skype conference with Franziska Brantner

After the free time in Freiburg and Colmar we had the chance to have a skype conference with Franziska Brantner from Germany, Member of the European Parliament for the European Green Party (Greens/EFA group).

Source: ???
Some days before we prepared the questions that we needed to know about many topics like European Expansion, Croatians entry, Kosovo road, the future of Youth in Action, Erasmus etc. She reserved some time from her agenda to answer and make us clear many problems that concerns us.
We sent the questions two nights before the call. During the conference she was so spontaneous with us and spent even her preparation time to answer our endless questions.

Keine Waffen für Assad!
This was a wonderful experience for all participants of “Celebrate the difference” and I am sure it was helpful for peoples involved in politics, youth working and people who are asking for main rights as is free movement.

You are a radio star…

Back in reality

Today is the 26th of November 2012. The day that in the past month i was most afraid of.
You will ask why? Because i knew i would feel as i feel right now, and i was kinda not so looking forward to it.

All of the participants are probably back home by the moment of my writing, and everything that happened in Breisach is already behind us. I had amazing time with all of you guys, i met many wonderful people, did many nice things, learned a lot useful information, drank a lot of German beer, ate humongous amounts of gummy bear and took a lot of pictures that will help me carry the memories of this wonderful trip forever.
