You are a radio star…

Back in reality
Today is the 26th of November 2012. The day that in the past month i was most afraid of.
You will ask why? Because i knew i would feel as i feel right now, and i was kinda not so looking forward to it.
All of the participants are probably back home by the moment of my writing, and everything that happened in Breisach is already behind us. I had amazing time with all of you guys, i met many wonderful people, did many nice things, learned a lot useful information, drank a lot of German beer, ate humongous amounts of gummy bear and took a lot of pictures that will help me carry the memories of this wonderful trip forever.

Song analysis, part 2: "Don't call me white"
Following the discussion of the first song (see other post), in our session on song analysis we spoke about a punk song from the early 1990s. The band NOFX from the West coast of the USA is singing "Don't call me white". In our discussion we came to agree that this song, like "People are people", is an appeal against labelling and negative stereotyping directed at individual people. At the same time, however, it is not at all free of stereotypes itself.
The EU programme YOUTH in Action
Following our presentation and discussion of the EU programme Youth in Action on the final day of our meeting in Breisach, here is a list of the most relevant websites for further websites.
There is a lot to be discovered, and many very interesting offers. Check it out!
Please note that the current programme period will end next year, i.e. in 2013. It is not clear yet if there will be a new YOUTH in Action programme in 2014-2020, and what it will look like in detail. Keep your fingers crossed that there will be new opportunities for financing Europe-wide projects in non-formal education!
