The intercultural evening

Intercultural evening is an event in which everybody presents its country. This is a special event that has become a tradition in the activities of the Youth in Action programme. Among this programme every participant has the opportunity to learn more about the culture of other participants. Below I will give a short description about intercultural evening organized in the youth exchange “Celebrate the Difference“. It was wonderful to learn more about Germany, France, Ukraine, Croatia, Macedonia.

At first Anastasia presented her city, Dresden. It is really a very nice city. Then we listened to a song of Die Prinzen, “Deutschland“.

After this , it was a great pleasure and fun too, to listen to Kevin and Michele performing the song “ La France - C’est différence” .

And then it was the turn of Croatian team . We enjoyed so much the cooking of Sen’s grandmother and the beautiful view of Mediterranean Croatia

The next was the Macedonian group . Ivana presented some interesting information and then they showed the pictures of some wonderful cities of  Macedonia .

And after Macedonia was the turn of Ukraine . It was so interesting  to watch the traditional dance of Ukraine and to listen to Yara while she was presenting the folklore of her country .

And in the end it was our turn . We choose to present Albania with guys from Kosovo because we all are descendants of  Mother Theresa and Scanderbeg . Danjela and Martin presented some facts about Albania . Then we listen to “ Xhamadani vija – vija “ and then we organized a small quiz won by Sebastian

And finally Laura said a few things about Spain .
