First day in Breisach

No matter whether by car or train, today most of the participants arrived in Breisach. While some of us were already able to gather some impressions of this town, situated just at the german french border, others profited from the opportunity of landing in Frankfurt and being able to take a tour around the city.

Coming from all directions, we finally came together and met in the youth hostel. Which actually means: a lot of new faces, people, stories and most of all: names to remember! With the hard travel behind us and an interesting seminar in front of us, everyone was happy to go to sleep. But not before we started off our youth exchange according to its name “Celebrate the difference!” by celebrating the birthday of Danjela.

Some of us also started to do some things differently while waiting for everyone else to arrive. Sitting in the common eating room which holds six tables, each of us ate at his or her table. It was very strange but made us laugh over and over again.

It will be interesting to see what other things lie ahead of us. With a wonderful view overlooking the border, seeing various twinkling lights of France, hopefully everyone will fall asleep fast.

Good night and sweet dreams everyone! See you in the morning!
